A space inspired by children and made specifically for their entertainment. Surrounded by an olive grove and two shallow pools, creative entertainment areas such as a drawing school and a kitchen, as well as sleeping quarters for the younger ones, the Children's Ark is perfect for children from 6 months-old to 10 years old. Let them spend the day with experienced childcare professionals.
Designed around the theme of an animal park, Children's Ark is in fact an Ark where children play happily in harmony with nature. A bridge seperates the section for the youner ones, 6 month to 3 1/2 year-olds, from the other section where the 4-10 year-olds are playing their own games. Older kids up to 12 years old are also catered for with a variety of activities.
Playgrounds are both indoor and outdoor, especially designed to protect childern from over-exposure to the sun. There is a vegetable garden where children can enjoy themselves while learning how to grow tomatoes and other Greek vegetables. There are two shallow pools attached to Children's Ark, properly supervised at all times and equipped with the most up-to-date water ionization and purification devices. There is space for resting, a dining room and children's toilets and showers.
There is the possibility for childern to take tennis, swimming and golf lessons as well as private lessons.
Activities at Childern's Ark include:
- playing acting and circus acting
- construction of a doll or a mask
- simple Greek cookie baking
- mini Olympic games in the water or on the track
- ceramics, batik, drawing and collage with natural materials
- treasure hunts
- garden cultivation and
- traditional games in nature
Childern's Ark and Crèche from 6 months to 5 years and Children's Park from 5 to 12 years.
Children's Ark is open 6 days a week from 10 a.m to 6 p.m
